INVICTUS GAMES 2016: INSPIRATION AND ENTHUSIASM

‘INVICTUS’, a beautiful poem written by extra-ordinary poet William Ernest Henley has an inspiration in itself, an untold story of wounded fighters, both men and women who had gone to every last stride to ensure the independence of their homelands. They had no intentions in their brains whatsoever the situation may be, but for world peace and opulence; they are heroes of the nation. Invictus games are for those who never give up; they still rise and shine to claim their part in the thriving humanity. These war veterans are masters of their fates and captains of their souls, justly said by the poet. The poet himself was an amputee, so every single word of his lettering depicts the language of a hurt but an optimistic soul. Greatly inspired by Warrior games, a domestic event of United States was attended by Prince Harry in 2013 that stimulated him to bring out a global version of these competitions.

Starting its efficacious journey from London, Invictus games have got great acclamation from all over the world, and in wake of which Prince Harry, the heart and soul behind these games announced to continue the streak. From all around the world, 15 nations and 500 athletes including war-torn Afghanistan, Iraq, and NATO allies such as United States and United Kingdom will take part keenly in the famous ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this May in Orlando. From 8 to 12 May 2016, these brave soldiers will recollect the cheers and blisses of game rather than faint-heartedly despising themselves for possessing partial bodies. Sports are, in fact the best approach for soldiers to move on with their lives, to escape self-hate, and to surge on the globe by their performance.

This would not have been possible if the British and US government and foundations had not helped us. Invictus games foundation is totally administered by honorable trustees from all fields including military, sports, and business. Under the kind patronage of Prince William Harry and administrative vision of Sir Keith Mills, Invictus games have now transformed from a dream to reality, providing every subsidy and training disbursements possible to handicapped war veterans. It was Prince Harry who met with Barack Obama, the United States president to persuade him for next Invictus games in United States.

According to OSHA, employers have a huge obligation to provide secure and hazard free workplace to the workers to minimize the hazards that could occur during work hours. If certain measures for safety are not taken by the employer, they must pay the fine for it under the Act of occupational Safety & Health (OSH), the fine charges would then be deposited to the U.S. Treasury. In every office or company, it is made possible for every worker to have a look at OSHA poster. Employers need to provide a comfortable environment, proper break and rest hours if needed during labor. OSHA has the penalty policy for violating the standards from minimum $7000 to $70,000. America’s economy continued to fall this year, with share prices falling since the start of 2016 along with European and Asian countries. For a stock market, these bears and bulls game may be a routine work, but a consistent decline in S & P 500 INDEX is raising many eyebrows. Many factors are involved including current situation of Middle East, a tension between America and China, and more importantly pessimism of investors due to falling oil and share prices. All in all, these factors directly affect U.S economy.

This dwindling formula aided Republicans to gain much support in Congress and Senate acting as an alternative to giving support to the economic failure of Obama’s policies. Evil policies of Democrats may result in their loss in forthcoming presidential elections. Though America is producing a massive amount of goods and exporting them to the entire world from airplanes to laptops, crude oil, and electronics as its main exports. Texas alone sold nearly $34 billion in petroleum category in 2015. Moreover, political tensions, including religious extremism, racial inequalities, and social issues have made an adverse effect on government as well as economy since Obama regime. According to series of Gallup surveys, faith on government & its policies is lowest in 10 years, as people think that corruption is the core problem of bad governance widespread in government officials. U.S government is imposing corporate taxes as high as 35 percent giving a sharp blow to corporate sector with no preferable economic reforms. The fact is corporate taxes in the United States are highest in the world, along with income tax rate of 39.6 percent making it dangerous for investors and entrepreneurs to stem their businesses in America.
